Powers

Battle Song

Teuvel'Khilat can be commanded to "sing", providing benefits to all combatants, friend or foe, within 50' who can hear the music of the blade when the song is initiated. Those hearing the music of the blade gain benefits similar to Milil's Battle Song spell, with the benefits lasting 7 rounds once a combatant has moved and remains more than 50' away from the blade. The sword's owner retain the benefits regardless of distance. Benefits include a +1 attack bonus, a +1 damage bonus, a +1 bonus to saving throws, and a +2 (+10%) bonus on all ability checks. Bards, Bladesingers, Tuneservants, Knights of the Harmonious Order and other combatants attuned to music instead receive a +2 attack bonus and a +2 damage bonus, along with the other benefits.

The battle song magic of the sword can be used in conjunction with a chant and/or prayer spell, but no more than one of each type of spell can be in effect at a time. Bard song to rally allies will also work in conjunction with the magic of the sword, when initiated within the influence of the sword's battle song; lasting for twice the duration and benefiting ally combatants with the standard +1 to attack rolls, +1 to saving throws, or +2 to morale.

This effect can't be activated stealthily. At the time it is activated, everyone within 50' hearing the ringing of the blade feels the inspiration and continues to hear the song in their ears for as long as they retain the benefits of the battle song. Those outside of the area of effect can still hear the initial ringing of the activation for as far as the sound can carry.

Bladesong

During Melee combat, the music of the blade allows the wielder to gain one additional attack per round with normal chances to hit, but the attack causes no damage. Instead, the sonic vibrations of the blade's touch dazes the opponent for one round, during which time they can only defend themselves from further attacks.
