Ring of the Silver Lining
This ring is made of silver and has a 3/8” round smooth piece of cloudy quartz that seems to have a skein of silver thread floating in it.
Powers
The ring can summon Nimbus Tongue from any distance in line of sight so long as no intervening obstacle blocks the way. If held, the wielder has chance equal to bend bars to retain hold of the sword. Many of the rings powers can be cast through the sword.
The ring can be used to command the powers of all three Silver Skeins and can mold the cloud immediately surrounding the ring wearer into solid ground and structures at a rate of 10 cubic feet every 15 minutes. The ring can further direct the location of the Silver Skein, moving it at the rate of 1 mile per hour.
The ring functions as a ring of feather falling. This ring protects its wearer by automatic activation of a feather fall if the individual falls 5 feet or more.
The ring has two additional bands that can detach and operate separately:
The two bands will fit nicely next to the Ring of the Silver Lining so that the offset stones line up with the main band.
The ring can be used to summon the Golden Obelisk during which time the stones of the ring will turn gold. At least one of the Silver Skein clouds must be floating above the valley, where the Golden Obelisk will appear, along with three other copies in or around the valley.
When separated, the rings can be used to communicate via a one minute verbal message between wearers that are in line of sight.
The combined ring functions similar to a Ring of Air Elemental Command with the following additional abilities:

- Precipitation
- Gust of wind (once per round)
- Solid Fog (once per day)
- Control Weather (once per week)
- Rainbow Bridge (once per month)
