Meadowdancer Sept

The Meadowdancer sept is the least of the branches, consisting of the most common elves of the extended Khilat hierarchy. They regularly intermarry with the Silverbow sept.

Appearance and Traits

Meadowdancers are fairly typical Moon Elves, but many have Wood Elven features, and some members resemble Wood Elves entirely. They have a strong tendency for black and brown hair, though blue and silver hair is also fairly common, with occasional coppery red. Eyes are most often green, with the occasional hazel; all with glittering gold flecks. Skin tones are pale with twinges of blue.

The sept has many members that tend the Khilat herds and orchards. Some achieve moderate rank as Druids. They are also craftsman of various Elven goods typically made of natural materials, including clothing and household goods. These goods are often traded as a small part of the merchant business.

Insignia

The insignia of the sept is an oak tree with a dryad in the branches and a faerie circle around the base, on a field of dark green. Six silver stars form an arch in the canopy of the tree with a gold star at the apex of a tall vertical branch.

The sept colors are dark green and brown, with red decoration.

The House of Khilat, and it's major Septs of Dreamsong and Silverbow routinely hunt evil dragons, and have a particularly viciousness against shadow and deep dragons.
