Shelrae Sept

The Shelrae sept is a minor branch of Dreamsong loyal to the noble House of Khilat. The Shelrae clan declared their allegiance to the House of Khilat the same day they drew the Moonblade and lived, but found they could only gain access through Dreamsong. Association with Dreamsong proved extremely profitable, and many generations of intermarriage solidified the relationship of the sept.

The Shelrae's primary estate is in the Grey Cloaks.

Appearance and Traits

Shelrae are typical Moon elves. Their hair is commonly black, blue, or silvery white. Their eyes are very commonly green, although some are blue as well, with golden flecks speckled through the iris.

This lesser branch is known for producing large numbers of engineers, geomancers, mages, and war wizards. They contract houses and building structures from natural materials, including living trees, crystal, natural stone and natural surroundings. Their craftsmen are well known for creating ballistas, crossbows and war engines. They produce a variety of mechanical devices, including locks, intricate lanterns and puzzles.

Insignia

The insignia of the sept is a silver sword with seven gold stars on the blade and a nimbus of blue.

Colors for the sept are gold and blue.
