Stealth mail provides freedom of movement equivalent to wearing no armor so that it does not inhibit thieving skills, spell casting or martial arts. As light as a normal set of clothes, the suit weighs a mere 3 pounds, which is not counted when figuring movement rate. It is comfortable enough to wear to sleep.
