Elven ChainMail, Stealth

This extremely rare form of elven chain mail is almost exclusively fitted to elves and half-elves. The links are set on a fine quilted silk shirt.

Powers

Stealth mail provides freedom of movement equivalent to wearing no armor so that it does not inhibit thieving skills, spell casting or martial arts. As light as a normal set of clothes, the suit weighs a mere 3 pounds, which is not counted when figuring movement rate. It is comfortable enough to wear to sleep. It can easily be worn under normal clothing without revealing its presences. It is odorless, and usually has a matte finish to avoid reflecting light.

The armor is magically silenced to never make noise, even when struck by weapons. At will, the wearer can be completely silent, eliminating noise from himself, equipment worn, and any item touched including his footsteps.

Like Elven chain, it is enchanted to provide +1 to +5 of enhanced protection which also applies to saving throws.

History

Owned by Chiliad Khilat

This suit of chain has its origins with certain Lost elves of the Border Forest and no known heirs exist. It is high quality and made from Elven steel alloyed with gold. It is golden in color with the faint image of a rising sun on the chest.

The original suit was enchanted to +3, but Chiliad has had it enhanced to +4.
