Belgretor has rarely cared for anything except his precious trees. While he had a home within half a days travel from him clan village, he would after travel throughout the Forgotten Forest tending and healing trees and animals. When Chiliad visited his forest, Belgretor followed him three days before he gather the courage to approach Chiliad. His amulet told him that Chiliad was a member of the Circle of the Ancients, and he was certain Chiliad felt his presence through the amulet as well, but Chiliad remained aloof and unconcerned. When Chiliad stepped into a tree and vanished from the forest, Belgretor easily followed him and discovered the sacred grove of the Singing Island. Chiliad a short distance away and waited for the shy gnome to come and introduce himself.
