Shortly after he completed an apprenticeship with a prominent historian associated with the Order of the Forgotten Flower, Walfire had a chance encounter with Corthyra and Belhorn where they struck up a conversation regarding Myth Drannor and certain artifacts described by Irithyl’s Harp of Valantra. When the matter of Walfire's current employment came up, Corthyra offered him a job as librarian for The Collective. Walfire's primary task is to build a library for The Collective, but he is also interested in archaeological field work, which Corthyra gladly permits when the dig site is deemed safe.
