Saera is one of the youngest daughters of the House of Emmarask and was permitted to marry Reyinald Theorsen due to his outstanding service as an elite man-at-arms, though the marriage did little to improve his political standing. She has been loyal to him and works hard to maintain the position of her family. The unexpected restoration of the House of Chiliad has increased her standing.

Saera serves as the chamberlain and oversees Chiliad’s private quarters and often personally oversees Chiliad’s personal attendants when he is on site. She hosts social events, gatherings and performances, arranges accommodations for guests and coordinates meals and meal selection. She is usually attended by Anawen Theorsen and Amelia Silverbow. Anawen Is her daughter and in training to serve as a chamberlain.
