Ring of Demi-Shadow Magic

The ring is carved from the translucent horn of a shadow dragon and set with a black star sapphire.

Powers

A wizard specialized in illusionist magic can double the number of illusion/phantasm spells memorized each day, similar to a Ring of Wizardry; doubling 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 1st & 2nd, 1st & 2nd & 3rd, or 4th & 5th.

Further, the ring will enhance illusion/phantasm based magic and innate spell powers of creatures or magic items within a 5 foot radius of the wearer, including the wearer as applicable. The number of times these powers can be used are doubled, if the magic is equivalent to a spell of the same level or less as would be doubled for an illusionist specialist. Thus, if the ring doubles an illusionists 2nd levels spells memorized, then 1st and 2nd level illusion/phantasm based spells of a magic item could be cast twice as often.

All illusion/phantasm spells are enhanced with shadow stuff added to their essence. Spells are treated as if they were cast at 2 spell levels higher. Damage inflicted by the illusion is +1 per die, even when disbelieved.

The ring can cast Demi-Shadow Magic once per week.
