Hrimtienn

Hrimtienn is a long sword with wide blade that comes to a somewhat rounded tip like a tongue, with a fuller groove running the full length of the blade. The blade is formed from steel with a red tinge and has its name engraved in runes on the blade near the handle. The handle is red leather and the pommel is a large red ruby.

The sword provides a +3 bonus versus any giant, giant-kin, ettin, ogre mage, or titan. Against any of the true giants (hill, stone, frost, fire, cloud, storm) the sword causes double damage (i.e., 2d12+3). The blade will glow red in the presence of giant kind.
