Holy Symbol of Amaunator

From House of Khilat

This ancient holy symbol to the forgotten deity Amaunator is a 3 inch diameter disk of dark mottled metalic gold. Around the disk are 12 rays of gold. The symbol is covered with an iridescent patina with a play of all colors, but primarily reds, oranges and yellows.

Powers

Priests of Lathander and Amaunator can cast spells as if they were one level higher when the spells are in the following domains: Sun and Law.

The priest can, at will, cause the holy symbol to glow with the strength of a light spell, shedding light in a 20 foot radius.

The holy symbol provides fire resistance like the ring of fire resistance.

Sunmaster

A Cleric or Paladin of Lathander can use the holy symbol to become a Sunmaster of Amaunator.

At 2nd level, a Sunmaster's eyes glow a bright orange like the radiance of the sun. The Sunmaster can't be blinded by any light or fire based attack. Once per day, the Sunmaster can shoot a beam of searing light from his eyes, which requires a successful melee attack against an opponent. A creature struck by this ray of light takes 1d8 points of damage per two caster levels (maximum 5d8). An undead creature takes 1d6 points of damage per caster level (maximum 10d6), and an undead creature particularly vulnerable to bright light takes 1d8 points of damage per caster level (maximum 10d8). A construct or inanimate object takes only 1d6 points of damage per two caster levels (maximum 5d6). An additional beam per day is gained at 5th level, and again at 8th level.

At 3rd level, the Sunmaster gains a resistance to fire of 5% per level, to a maximum of 50%.

Upon reaching 10th level, the Sunmaster gains the ability to become an insubstantial ball of bright, glowing light of roughly 3 feet diameter. This effect is identical to that of the gaseous form spell, except as follows. In sunform, the Sunmaster radiates daylight up to 60 foot radius, gains a flying speed of 120 feet Class A, and has immunity to fire, light, and air effects. In addition, the Sunmaster gains a melee touch attack that deals 6d6 points of fire damage. The Sunmaster can remain in sunform for up to 10 rounds. Sunform is the equivalent of an 8th-level spell and is usable once per day.
