Cloak of Elven Nobility

From House of Khilat

This cloak of neutral, gray cloth is indistinguishable from any ordinary cloak of the same color. This lightweight, hooded cloak can cover a wearer from head to toe, and may be worn comfortably over studded leather or lighter armor. The inside is covered in fluffy down making it comfortable to wear on a chilly night or the heat of desert. The cloaks have four interior waterproof pouches, two on the wearer's left, and two on the right. The pouches have flaps and are easily sealed to be highly water resistant.

Powers

The cloak provides the same chameleon-like benefits as a Cloak of Elvenkind, making the wearer nearly invisible when the hood is drawn up over the head. The color of the cloak automatically and instantaneous changes to blend in with the surrounding environment. When not trying to hide, the wearer can change the cloak to any desired color scheme.

The cloak provides a protection bonus between +1 to +5, which can be used in conjunction with armor or other protective magic.

The down lining traps a pocket of air to provide insulation and padding while remaining very light weight at 2-5 pounds, depending on its size. When the cloak is drawn closed, the down muffles sound, adding 10% to the wearer's chance to move silently. The wearer remains comfortable in extremes of temperature from hot desert to arctic cold. The cloak can seal itself up as a sleeping bag with a cushion of air for padding. The fur lining also traps moisture, sweat and odor which it sheds whenever it resizes or changes form; leaving the wearer odor free.

The wearer is served by a permanent unseen servant. If the unseen servant suffers 6 points of damage, then it will not be available for 24 hours.

The cloak can resize itself to fit any creature from Halfling to Giant size. It can reshape itself from short cape to a full hooded cloak covering from head to foot. During this resizing process any minor cuts or rips are rewoven and repaired. The bottom edge is slightly heavier with additional material for reweaving, along with a trim of fur like hair of damaged threads and material.
