Therkain's natural talents were discovered at an early age and he was taken into the guild of the Knaves of the Missing Page to begin study as a spellfilcher. He was allowed to visit his parents regularly, but the guild served as his primary family. He understands his duty to his people and readily enjoys outsmarting the tricks and traps made by others.
On Therkain's first solo mission, he found himself in parallel pursuit of the same target as Corthyra and Adogeon. Quick thinking on Corthyra's part saved Therkain's life and helped him accomplish his mission and achive rank as a trusted agent of his guild. Therkain asked his guild master if he could work with The Collective to achieve mutual goals. Initially Corthyra was mistrusting of Therkain's motives, so Chiliad contacted the guild master to verify they had no ill intentions against The Collective. Since then, Therkain has walked a narrow path between his oath and obligation to the guild and his growing personal loyalty to Corthyra. Further, the alliance has proven beneficial to the guild due to The Collective's ability to travel long distances quickly with numerous resources outside Evereska.
