Powers

Bane

Tulani Lord Sultaasarn in counsel with Khilat and Elian Khilat, granted a wish to Khilat to make the blade particularly potent against specific enemies, the Fey'ri and their allies, evil Dragons, and special enemies of the wielder. Benefits include detection of bane enemies within 30', bonuses to hit and damage, increased chances for critical hits and special purpose powers.

Lower Planes

Against creatures from the lower planes or creatures with heritage tracing back to the lower planes:

  • Detects enemies from the lower planes within 30'.
  • +1 to hit and damage.
  • The blade flashes a chromatic aura on each hit.
  • +1 improver chance of a critical hit, with double base sword damage.

Fey'ri

Against elves with demonic heritage or those having bound their spirit to a demon by high magic:

  • Detects Fey'ri within 30'.
  • +2 to hit and damage.
  • The blade glows a deep red aura on each hit.
  • +2 improved chance of a critical hit, with double base sword damage.
  • Special purpose power of Power Word, Kill on critical hit, with multiple Fey'ri opponents within 10' impacted if the target has less than 10 hit points, as per the spell description.

Evil Dragons

Against evil creatures with dragon heritage:

  • Detects evil dragon species within 30'.
  • +1 to hit and damage.
  • The blade glows a brilliant blue aura on each hit.
  • +1 improved chance of a critical hit, with double base sword damage.

Red Dragons

Against Red Dragons:

  • +2 to hit and damage.
  • +2 improved chance of a critical hit, with double base sword damage.

Deep Dragons

Against Deep Dragons:

  • +2 to hit and damage.
  • +2 improved chance of a critical hit, with double base sword damage.

Shadow Dragons

Against Shadow Dragons:

  • +2 to hit and damage.
  • +2 improved chance of a critical hit, with double base sword damage.

Species Enemy

This will automatically apply to the species enemy of any wielder with a ranger class. Other wielders with have this benefit against one particular class of creature similar in nature to a ranger's species enemy.

  • +2 to hit and damage.
  • +2 improved chance of a critical hit, with double base sword damage.

Previous Enemies

Previous species enemies provide a lingering combat bonus:

  • +1 vs Liches from
  • +1 vs Drow from
  • +1 vs Werewolves from

Interactions
