Sunstorm
The entire sword is made from quartz crystal with a golden tone and gold flecks. The blade edge feels dull to the touch and the sword looks ceremonial. The center of the cross piece has a sun shaped hole and the handle is hollow, which makes the sword seem even more fragile. In the presence of the sun disk in the monastery and Sun Temple the sun disk and blade will shed a stream of golden light between them.

The completed sword is a holy object of the Sun Temple of Lathander wielded by its highest knight, and can only be wielded by a Lawful Good character. The sword has an intelligence of 13 and ego of 12.
In the hands of a paladin it can generate a circle of power out to 5’ which provides 50% magic resistance and is capable of dispelling hostile magic of levels up to the paladin’s experience level. The plus to hit or damage is not cumulative, with the highest bonus applying.
