Shadowbrand

Shadowbrand appears to be the hilt of a sword with no blade. The grip appears to be made of black translucent leathery scaled skin. The guard is crafted as two long reptilian fingers with claws curled towards the missing blade. Two blades stick out from the handle perpendicular from the missing sword blade and extending about four inches. The pommel has a large round gem that looks like a cat eye. An aura of black flames will appear when held by the bearer of the Night Guard or in the presence of demons.

Powers

The blade is intangible and only exists in the outer planes. It will only damage creatures from the outer planes that require +1 to hit, and against such it is a +5 weapon to hit and damage. Otherwise, the only damage inflicted from this handle is from the two side blades doing damage as a standard dagger. When combined into Celestial Sentinel, the weapon is +5.
