Description

Karina is a female psychic Hummingbird. She is a large hummingbird species with colorful iridescent feathers in both males and females. She is brightly colored with a bright sapphire blue head with a golden yellow crest, emerald green body, ruby red throat, and golden tail with two long feathers ending in colorful peacock circles. She has an orange beak, bright red tongue and brilliant amber eyes.

This is the form she usually assumes when she needs to do tasks better suited to hands.

Rin typically has a diminutive human appearance of great beauty and grace, with pale skin having a hint of green, long pale blue hair, and brilliant amber eyes. She has four emerald green dragonfly-like wings on her back. She can alter her appearance at will, including having an animal head, tail, legs, arms and wings. She can change her size at will, from an inch tall to over two feet high. Regardless of her chosen form, she will always have an otherworldly beauty and very high charisma. She usually wears colorful layers of solid and diaphanous garments and accessories, often including various royal embellishments.

She has a kind and inquisitive nature. She has a knack for appraising appearance and status. Her psychic abilities allows her to sense motive and intent. She has a sharp cheerful voice when she chooses to speak. She is very attentive to everything going on around her.

She typically flies everywhere, only landing and taking a few steps when needed. She is usually very active, constantly moving from place to place, but can hover in a single location indefinitely.

In this form, Rin is thin and resembles a mature, diminutive human, with traits more akin to a quickling. She has cream colored skin with pale blue tinges, pointy ears, wavy silver blue hair, and amber eyes. She typically wears colorful, archaic and ornate clothes, and often plays a most exquisite, tiny five stringed harp.

She can stand very still, but when she moves, she can easily achieve speeds like a quickling and is a blur of activity. When she talks, it is often indecipherable chatter, unless she puts considerable effort into slowing down and being understood. More often, she continues to rely on telepathy for communication with her companions.

In this form, she is very small for a sea sprite, just over a foot tall. She has slick sea green skin, wide gold eyes and course silvery green hair that reach down to the gills on her neck. Her hands and feet are webbed, allowing her to swim very fast. A prehensile stalk extends from the top of her forehead that ends in a bright glowing orb of silvery light that she can turn on and off at will.

Gabi looks something like a toucan crossed with a parrot. She has bright colored feathers of green, blue, yellow, orange and red, but the patterns routinely change, sometimes even when being watched. Her beak is usually bright orange. Her eyes are golden. She has wings reaching a wingspan of 4 feet.

Often she will talk like a parrot, as if mimicking rather than speaking intelligently. When she finds someone she wants to talk to, the chatter can be non-stop. Her speaking voice is calm and melodious. Her singing voice is very beautiful, and attracts song birds to join in chorus.

Kiki is very petite and has pale skin with a blue grey tinge, long gold hair and demure lavender eyes with gold flecks. She can adjust her apparent age from young to young adult, often appearing as a shy young maiden of little importance. Typical of star elves, she is strikingly pretty. She likes to wear medium length colorful dresses, thigh length tunics or full length robes over equally colorful snug breeches. Her elaborate cloths often have lots of decoration, including ruffles, lace, ribbons and bows. She usually wears a small mithral tiara of simple and elegant design with a pendant having a glowing dusky blue star sapphire. She often includes a short cape of colorful peacock or white swan feathers. When on an adventure, she wears neutral colors with patterns and decorations that blend with the current environment.

She is bright and cheerful. She’ll stay close and often seems to be underfoot, but just as quickly anticipates and gets out of the way. She has a knack for appraising appearance and status. Her psychic abilities allows her to sense motive and intent. She loves being helpful and often knows what people want before they do. She’ll gladly run errands, using it as a pretext to snoop around and get “lost” in places she shouldn’t be. When trouble catches up to her, she can usually anticipate others actions and turn them to her advantage. She is particularly good at using her charisma and charm to get men to do things for her. She has a pure sweet voice, which carries well when singing.

On rare occasions, Kiki will take the appearance of an Avariel by sprouting soft downy light grey wings with soft pink undertones. She is particularly agile and quick in the air, even able to hover for short periods.

When the need arises she’ll take an aquatic form. While retaining the overall look of Kiki, her skin takes on a silvery sea green tinge and her hair is thicker and translucent blue green. A prehensile stalk extends from the top of her forehead that ends in a bright glowing orb of silvery light that she can turn on and off at will. Her hands and feet have webbing. She has several hard to see gill slits hidden behind her ears. She usually wears a short silk skirt over blue green short shorts, and a bikini top with lots of iridescent scales.

She has a bright red beak with a deep red throat, golden red eyes, bright red crest feathers, golden feathers with bronze speckles, dull red-grey wings, and a green tail ending with peacock like green and blue feathers with bright red “eyes”.
