Ebonfang

This long sword has a handle of black reptile skin and the pommel is a clear crystal globe encasing what resembles an obsidian lizard head with two horns sticking out.

Two Handed Sword +1, +3 Dragon Slayer

This has a +3 bonus against any sort of true dragon. It inflicts triple damage against black dragons (i.e., 3d12+3). Ebonfang is +5 to hit Ebonsoul and will deal out quadruple damage, leaving scars issuing black mist.

Ebonfang has an intelligence of 16 and ego of 19 with an alignment of Neutral good. Ebonfang can protect the user from dragon fear as desired, though protection against Ebonsoul is automatically granted. Ebonfang audibly speaks dragon and common.

Ebonfang will automatically cut the chains of the Hold Monster spell of the Dragon Orb which can’t be used against the sword wielder. Ebonfang can detect (by smell) any giant reptiles within 1 mile when outdoors and within 100 feet indoors or underground, though only living creatures can be detected. Ebonfang knows that large reptilian bodies are not a good thing and should be destroyed.

Ebonfang's special purpose is to destroy the Ebonsoul.
