Dagger of Swordhand

This dagger is the trademark of the Swordhand family. It always takes the form of a simple dagger with minimal decoration. The dagger is typically rather short, with a blade length of 6-9 inches.

Powers

On command, the blade grows in length to become a short sword. If the dagger is initially concealed, it often seems as if it appears in the hand from nowhere.

The Swordhand family contracted a wizard to provide a formula for crafting their family signature magic sword. The family periodically has a number of new ones created to replace lost daggers or provide the next generation with a new dagger. Daggers are created with magic of +1 to +3 enchantment. A few have additional powers enchanted into the blade.
