The Flameblades are an elite unit of War Wizards. The members are 4th-level Moon elven fighter/mages (War Wizards) with chain mail, long sword, long bow, dagger. They have been fast friends since their youth and went into training together to form the unit.

Eragon Battlemaster is an honorary member and serves as their mentor and leader when he is in residence at the Chiliad Estate.

When the House of Chiliad was re-established they immediately signed up to serve one of the few noble Cormyr families, and the only one with elven noble heritage.
