Black Rod of Faces

This rod is made from black basalt rock and is approximately 18 inches long and about 1 inch in diameter with five faces and associated torsos carved into it from top to bottom.

Powers

When grasped, the rod can be used to see through the eyes of various stone statues throughout the valley. Further, when touched to any of the golems, basic instructions can be issued for the golem to perform simple tasks or defend a particular area against intruders.

It can be used to summon a stone guardian to fight for the user for 5 rounds once per week. The rod can only be used in the presence of suitable stone by touching the tip to the stone.
