Bergeron always had an affinity with animals and nature, journeying into the wilderness never with any fear of the animals. When he came of age he sought out a mentor who would train him in the ways of the ranger. During the Time of Troubles he spontaneously developed lycanthropy. After several attempts for a cure, he was informed that his affliction was not curable and appeared to be natural as if born with the nature. He continued pursuing his life as a ranger while taking time to gain control of his shapeshifting abilities. His former mentor referred him to Chiliad who helped him manage his shapeshifting and learn to accomplish tasks in bear form. | |||
