Bear Staff

The Bear Staff is made from an 8 foot long piece of twisted ivory, the image of a roaring bear head is carved into the thick end. Sharp bear claws form a ring around the rim just under the bear head.

Powers

Upon command the pointed end of the staff will sprout a sharp blade to form a spear. Charges from the staff can be used to summon any wild bears within 12 miles of the bearer.

A 7th level druid can change into a bear at will without using up his mammal slot each day, but neither is damage healed when shifting to a new form.
