Chiliad's Buckler Disk

A small, domed disk of polished silver, its mirror surface etched with intricate Celtic style zoomorphic interlace that catches the light like liquid mercury. The design changes every time the disk enlarges or returns to its original size. A replaceable slender leather strap secures it to the wrist.

Powers

It is enchanted with a +1 bonus to armor class regardless of size. The buckler disk may be used by any class permitted to use edged weapons.

With a mere thought, the diminutive three-inch disk enlarges into a formidable spiked buckler, crowned with a dagger like spike. When enlarged it enhances armor class as a small shield. It functions similar to a main-gauche, with a +1 bonus to hit and damage. When in buckler form, the spike sheds light to 5’ and can generate a single magic missile once per day.
